MINI REPORT

Same old England! A dreadful performance with only a late Joe Cole goal salvaging a draw on a wet night at Wembley.

The Czech’s took the lead on 22 minutes turning in the box and watching as his shot deflected of Ashley Cole into the net. England pulled level just before half-time Wes Brown powerfully heading home a David Beckham corner. Czech Republic regained the lead just after half time Jankulovski curling in a fantastic free-kick. Joe Cole scrambled home a late equaliser but it was a very poor performance and England will have to drastically improve if they are to have any chance against Croatia in a few weeks.
