EASY WIN
England were easy winners in this friendly against Trinidad & Tobago in Port of Spain. Aston Villa's Gareth Barry put England ahead on 12 minutes when he volleyed home following good work by Stewart Downing and Wayne Bridge down the left.
Four minutes later the game was as good as over Downing laying on the second for Jermain Defoe. The Portsmouth striker got his second from a David Bentley cross just after half-time.
There were debuts for Dean Ashton, Joe Hart, Phil Jagielka and Stephen Warnock.

ENGLAND CRUISE
End of season internation friendlies are usually drab affairs and for 35 minutes this was no different as England struggled against a poor USA side at Wembley. After skipper for the night John Terry headed home a David Beckham free-kick on 38 minutes England relaxed and throughly out played their opponents. Man of the match Steven Gerrard made it 2-0 on 59 minutes as England strolled it.
